I just tried bare naturale today and I love it. its way better than liquid foudation. I have oily skin and I found that the powder actually looks silkier with time.plus the product didnt get on my cellphone. Another thing is I'm African American and was lucky enough to find my shade "Cocoa". I heard online they only have light, beige and nude colors but I found darker shades at my rite-aid. I guess its where you buy it from. also u can mix powders to try to get your shade.

Great product will definitley buy again :)

[...] This powder foundation provides decent sheer coverage at a fairly good price. For those that require an included brush, it also includes one that is serviceable, although it is rather small. I would recommend the L’Oreal mineral makeup instead for those who really want their minerals to come prepackaged with a brush (read review). [...]

I beleive I am having an allergic reaction to L'oreal Bare Naturale foundation and illuminateur. My face is read and itchy, not sure if it contains the bismuth oxychloride. The print on the bottom of product is so small I cannot read it even with my glasses on. I have tried to research online at L'oreals website and was unsuccessgul. I then called the customer service at L'oreal and they could not tell me and would call me back.

I love the stuff. It can be put on as lightly or has heavy as you wish. The odd thing that I have noticed is that it does not wash off easily. It stays put! I play hockey and when I come off the ice, and shower, I still have it on my face! Great! It does come off easily with a facial cleanser.

Bare Escentuals does not contain preservatives, like parabens, but it does contain bismuth oxychloride which causes itchiness in a lot of women (myself included). Bismuth is not harmful (unlike parabens) unless your skin is sensitive to it.
