Revlon Pinch Me Gel Blush Cheek Stain

I really like cheek stains as long as I can blend them well enough and they are not overly dark. Revlon Pinch Me Sheer Gel Blush meets that description perfectly!

Revlon Pinch Me Gel Blush Cheek StainThis gel cheek stain is absolutely perfect for me. I picked it up in the shade Playful Pink, which is a nice natural rose/pink shade that worked well with my ultra pale skin. I noted that there were several more shades available, so those of you with darker skin tones might want to look at the other shades like plum and cherry. Because the stain is in gel form, I found that it blended much better than a liquid stain such as Benetint. So it was a bit more forgiving of mistakes. Although I do still love Benetint as well!

Revlon Just Bitten Lip StainI paired the Revlon cheek stain with its roller ball lip stain, Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain, in a plum shade with a little gloss. On bare skin, and with a bit of mascara on the eyes, this made for a nice, natural looking day-time makeup combination. For a further look at the lip stain, head on over to my review at Girl Gloss!

  1. This look handy…how’s the staying power? I’m always on the mission to find gel blushes because they are so easy to use, but I have oily skin and can’t seem to find one that stays on (they all just slide, off, boo!)

I would say that the staying power is medium. It is not as long wearing as Benetint, but it lasted longer for me than many light powder blushes do. I do not have particularly oily skin though, so it makes it a bit hard to judge. I would guess that powders last longer than gels on oily skin?

  3. In my experience, yup! Gels disappear on me half way through the day. Same thing with some creme blushes.

I think I’ll check it out. And if it doesn’t work I’ll just layer it with a powder on top. :)

I like the gel and it lasts pretty much all day but it is sometimes more liquid then gel and I am not sure what the deal is with that. I would like it better if it was roll on or in a tube. If it is separating then I could squish the tube and mix it.

I’m going to try this in a free sample from sephora I have oily skin and blushes tend to fade on me too :(

hopefully this one will last longer
