Yes it was a strange brush. but it was the first mascara since 20 years ago (revlon)which did not smudge on my face. I tried everything from waterproof to smudge proof but this was excellent. And yes it did make my eyes black when i was swimming but I work 10 hour days with no smudge on my face. I live in Botswana and we cannot get this anywhere not even in sa. please I need this and as many as you can give me - I love it!!!!!!!!!! I would like someone to contact me re this.
