Wonderful progress, congratulations!

Meanwhile, my social calendar somehow blew up last week and I couldn't stay on any diet if I had wanted to, LOL. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your updates.

The diet starts restrictive and adds foods back in over the course of 6 weeks. By the end, you are eating a rather normal healthy diet. Basically, the first 2 weeks cut out grains, starchy veggies (corn, potatoes etc.), legumes, soy products, and dairy. After two weeks, legumes get added back in. Dairy comes in after 3, and the rest after 4 weeks. My understanding is that when combined with the exercise program, by the time grains and such are added back, the body will be built up enough to burn them efficiently. You always get to eat all the fruits and veggies you want, and up to a cup per day of nuts for snacks.

I have been eating a lot of chicken, fish and veggies. Plus a ton of grapefruit because I brought a bunch back from a trip to Texas. Also soup, mainly because it is a handy thing to make with all of the chicken and veggie leftovers. I add egg to take the place of noodles!

WoW~!
GREAT JOB!
...not the getting sick part but I am glad to see you are happy with the results so far.

Question, Is this very restrictive diet simply to lose the immediate weight and then she has you start eating normal healthy foods?
I was just wondering.
Meaning we can't just live off of soup...but they do say it's great to lose weight with.
I myself love the eat the Healthy Valley one's.

KUDOS!
