They were so soft to the touch, and better yet, they're cruelty free. I've just used them and washed them, and are currently drying, bamboo-spindle up (so that the water won't seep into the bamboo and damage it). Hopefully they'll retain their same softness. And damn -- $10.99 for a set! That's a steal right there. I went to RiteAid to purchase a few brushes, and next thing you know, I found these! I use a very good quality hair brush to apply Mineral make up (Minerelle which is a really natural pressed mineral powder) which I am really happy with but i am concerned about animal cruelty and I would like to try a quality synthetic brush.
