I actually tried epilating and i think its probably one of the greatest inventions. Initially i started to shave and the hairs grew back quicker and more thicker each time. Then i resorted to waxing, which was fine, but the only issue with waxing was that you have to wait for at least 4 weeks for the hair to grow back long enough to wax. But now i've discovered the epilator and the hairs grew back much more finer and it takes at least a good 4-5 weeks for it to grow back. ALthough when it does grow back, you can start epilating again pretty much just as long as you moisturise regularly after to keep it smoothe and long lasting. If it irritates your skin after epilating, use an aloe vera gel which instantly calms and soothes the skin.

This epilator is amazing. I haven't shaved my legs in about 5 years or so because I've been epilating.

Even when my legs are "hairy" you can hardly see it and the hairs are really soft and fine. When I used to shave, my leg hair was sharp and course and I would be embarrassed to brush my leg up against someone accidentally in the summer. I have tried several iterations of the epilator. This version is the best. The most painless, the most portable (hello cordless!) and it has a trimmer and bikini attachment. The bikini area I still reserve for waxing as I do get a lot of ingrowns but I'm hoping in time I can use it for that as well.

If you have never used an epilator before, I recommend getting your legs waxed a few times first and then epilate as your hair starts to grow back. It will be a much easier transition than unleashing it on your virgin leg hairs if you've never done it before ;)

I plan on buying this epilator, i have to switch mine, it's a bit old, already.

Anyway I just wanted to make a comment on this: "I briefly tried using the epilator on the bikini area, and that was a lot more painful, so I’m not sure I will be using it there." - I have and use epilator since I was 14 (now I'm 20) and the first times I used it in the bikini area it hurt like hell and I even bleeded. Now that area it's painless for me. Really, I feel absolutly no pain! But let me remind you that to use the epilator it is better if you use it in smaller hair, it will hurt less.

Sorry about my English.
