This one is for fellow bloggers seeking information on monetizing through marketing.
I have been a member of The Third Tribe marketing seminars and forum since the beginning. This membership program, run by Chris Brogan, Brian Clark and Sonia Simone of Copyblogger, and Darren Rowse of Problogger, offers multiple educational seminars each month on internet marketing topics, including building a business around your blog, email marketing, list building, creating and launching your own products, affiliate marketing, and more. The site also offers call in question and answer sessions and has an active forum. I have been enjoying the program and find the forum to be especially quality. There are some great resources there. As a beauty blogger, I also find that it is a nice way to network with a wider variety of people from other niches.
Mostly though, I joined the Third Tribe to gain new marketing skills, including product launch skills since I have some ebooks in the plans, and also hope to develop some physical products (that line of lip products that I keep delaying). The program is aimed quite a bit at product development and launches, along with a decent dose of affiliate marketing skills. So, I particularly recommend it for anyone thinking of marketing their own product, as the seminars are particularly helpful for planning product launches and developing marketing lists. Marketing your own product is also where the money seems to be these days.
New members get access to all of the old seminars, which right now is around 10 of them. As material is added, at a rate of 2-3 seminars/month, plus a Q&A session, the price goes up, so right now Third Tribe Membership is $47/month. But it is going up on June 1 at 5pm CST to $97. Anyone who joins before June 1 locks in the lower rate. You can also quit at any time, so you can try a month, listen to or read the seminars, and leave if it doesn’t suit you. In all honestly, I don’t know that I would want to pay $97 for it at this point in time (maybe after they get more content built up), but I would pay $47 for what is there right now (I pay less because I got in on the initial offer).
Anyway, I thought I would toss the info out there for fellow bloggers who might want to get in on this before the price shoots up! Click below to learn more.
