The TRIA Beauty Home Laser Hair Removal Device is a great way to get laser hair removal without going to a spa, and at a much lower price than a full course of spa treatments. It is painless (sensation is only a slight heating) and easy to use. I am getting good results with mine, despite not using it as consistently as I should in order to get a full course of treatment. Right now Tria products have been reduced in price with Tria Beauty now at $495.

Tria also has a new acne treatment system, the Tria Be Clear. I haven’t tried it, so I can’t speak for it, but it looks interesting.

AXE Twist for men was created by a group of both college-aged guys and girls. Twist is based on the idea that girls get bored easily, so it starts with fresh hints of citrus and then adds more depth with notes of cedar and sandalwood. So, the fragrance actually changes throughout the day to keep things interesting.

I was sent a package of AXE Twist deodorant and body spray to test. I really liked the fragrance, especially in the body spray. I tend to like citrus, so the top notes of that jumped out at me right away. But the woodier notes were also nice and do indeed come out better later. The scent is not overwhelming. Instead it is fresh and on the lighter side. My husband has been happy with the deodorant, and I noticed that he has been using it over the one he had out before (which I believe was Old Spice). So I guess he likes the AXE product better. I certainly think they smell a bit younger and fresher than what he was wearing before.
