Going Natural With Neutrogena

Glam Media sent me an eco-friendly Bliss bag with some neat eco-friendly products, including some great items from the Neutrogena Naturals line of skin care products. Since I am a fan of natural products and tend to recommend them when possible, I was looking forward to trying out the products. Here is a look at the items that were in my bag:

Neutrogena Naturals Bag

The bag included a Babble water bottle with a built in filter that I found rather interesting, a rather neat Yoga Fan full of poses and instructions, and some other nice items such as a Crate and Barrel bamboo tool set, a loofa sponge from The Loofa Farm, and some tasty Simple Squares snacks. But the Neutrogena items in the bag really stood out.

I usually like Neutrogena products, but had not yet tried anything from the Neutrogena Natural line. I gave all the products a try a will cover some here and some over on Girl Gloss.

Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing+Makeup Remover: This pump formula makeup remover features Peruvian Tara Seed and, like all products in the line,  is free of parabens and harsh chemicals. The bottle itself is also made of 50% recycled material. The cleanser removes makeup well and is lightly moisturizing, so you won’t feel dried out after using it. It worked quite well for me. I highly approve!

Neutrogena Naturals Nourishing Moisturizer: This light moisturizer is 97% naturally derived. It provides a good amount of moisture without feeling greasy and is perfect for day use. I liked the overall feel of the product, and then there was this bonus: it smells great! It is actually one the best smelling items I have used in awhile. We are not talking anything heavy here-just a fresh light scent that I happened to really like.

Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Night Cream: For those with dry skin or who want a heavier night cream, this is an excellent choice. The night cream have a nice luxurious feel to it. It absorbs well and left my skin feeling smooth. I actually really like using this around my eye area best. Like the moisturizer, it also has a very nice light scent that I particularly like.

Neutrogena Naturals Lip Balm: Next to the moisturizer, this simple little balm is probably my favorite item in the collection. It is a nicely buttery balm that packs a moisture punch with a few of my favorite lip balm ingredients, such as Olive Oil and both Shea and Cocoa butters.  This balm is great for protection, but it would also be an excellent healing balm. I love it!

Here is a bit closer look at the Neutrogena products:

Neutrogena Naturals Review

Overall, I give the line a big thumbs up. The items are a great way to add natural products to your routine. They are easy to find at any drugstore or major retailer, and they are quite affordable.
