The new LORAC Pro Palette is quickly replacing LORAC Unzipped (read previous LORAC Unzipped Review) as my my favorite overall palette! This beautiful set of 8 matte and 8 shimmer shades is everything that you need for daily natural, shimmer, and smoky looks. I seriously am in love with it! Swatches from the palette and my video review with swatches are below.
The Palette comes with a sample of LORAC Behind the Scenes Eye Primer and includes a mirrored case and 16 buttery shades. All shades have excellent pigment and the selection is superb. My only complaint about LORAC shadows is that they are often so finely milled that extra loose powder is a factor during application. But that is a factor with almost any top brand. If you want a nicely blendable shade, it should generally be expected. I like to put some translucent powder under my eyes during application, which makes removing any fallout super simple.
Here are swatches from the LORAC Pro Palette. On the top row are the matte shades in White, Cream, Taupe, Lt. Pink, Mauve, Sable, Espesso, and Black.
Here are pro palette swatches of the bottom row with the shades Nude, Champagne, Gold, Lt. Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Deep Purple, and Slate.
These shades wore very well for me. I have seen a few people say that they felt the colors faded quicker than they would like, but I have had no such issues. I think this palette pairs very well with Unzipped for adding more neutral matte shades, and I now use it even more than my Unzipped palette.
