The new Tarte Amazonian Clay Call Of The Wild Palette is a collector’s edition palette with eight neutral shades. When my palette first arrived, I wasn’t overly impressed with the shades in the pans. They looked fine, but they didn’t excite me either. But I did like them better once I swatched them.
Here is my photo of the palette. The case is attractive and the shadows are good sized.
Tarte shadows are a bit harder than a lot of shadows in their price range, but not so hard that they don’t blend. That means less fall out. However, I felt that the pigment in these could be a bit better, especially in the the lighter shades.
