This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zyrtec. All opinions are 100% mine.
I just returned from vacation in the rocky mountains, where allergies seem to particularly affect me. Aside from being unpleasent, allergies are not all that great for your looks either, with watery eyes and puffiness. Zrytec has been my allergy medication of choice for several years now. It has worked well for me in tackling my allergies to various plants and flowers, and it especially has been good for my allergy to pollen from pine trees!
Well, Zyrtec just provided another bit of help with a beauty tips infographic and video for dealing with Allergy Face. So, you can take Zyrtec to feel better and use the tips to look better. First off, here are some useful allergy information and beauty tips. I was surprised by just how many women are affected by allergies!
The below video has some more great tips for lessening the look of your puffy eyes and red nose, and they are all simple and easy!
Watching the video, I loved the tips on how to best use concealer. I learned a new trick or two!
Aside from the tips in the video, I like to try the following to deal with Allergy Face.
- Use a moisturizing foundation or tinted moisturizer. Dry cosmetics accentuate puffiness and redness
- Likewise, use cream eyeshadows, which will also be more comfortable to apply
- Stick to neutral and matte eyeshadow shades to avoid over accentuating the area
- Use a waterproof mascara so you won’t have to rub much to remove it
