Two weeks ago, I wrote about how I would be trying Dove Clear Tone, a deodorant and antiperspirant that is formulated to help counteract underarm darkening. Shaving can cause irritation, which leads to darkening. In my case, I am prone to hyperpigmentation and melasma, so I have noticed some underarm darkening. So I was looking forward to trying Dove Clear Tone.
Dove Clear Tone is formulated to moisturize the area and prevent darkening with calendula and sunflower seed extracts. After two weeks of use, the moisturizing aspect is quite noticeable. I have previously used gel products that I liked just fine, but felt were somewhat drying. Not so with the Dove Clear Tone. I also thought I could see some lightening of the area. Looking through online consumer reviews it seems that a good number of people report positive results with the product. I’m looking forward to using the product longer to see further results!
As I mentioned two weeks ago, another challenge I face with deodorant is that I sweat a lot. Because of that, I need a good antiperspirant.Dove Clear Tone was strong enough for me. It also has a good scent, which is important to me. Overall, I give it a thumbs up!
