I am taking the Dove Clear Tone Challenge! I will be using Dove Clear Tone Skin Renew Deodorant for 2 weeks and then I will report back on my results. This is a welcome test, since I have noticed underarm darkening on myself and this is an issue that Dove Clear Tone is formulated to solve.
Have you ever noticed that your underarm skin is darker than the rest of your arm? The area can be irritated by shaving, which can cause darkening. I definitely notice this and I think in my case it is exacerbated by the fact that I am prone to hyperpigmentation. Plus, I have quite fair skin, so it also is going to be more noticeable because of that. Dove Clear Tone is formulated to moisturize the area and prevent the problem. I could use that extra moisture too just to deal with general irritation from shaving.
Another challenge I face with deodorant is that I sweat a lot. So I need a good antiperspirant. I noticed that Dove Clear Tone has a decent amount of antiperspirant in it. It isn’t clinical strength, but it should be strong enough. I also like to have some scent to cover things up. I popped open the container and gave it a sniff. It does indeed have a good scent. I’m looking forward to trying it!
So, I will be ditching my old deodorant and will switch to using Dove Clear Tone starting today. I already have my Dove Clear Tone waiting and ready to go. Check back in two weeks to see how it went!
