The la prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Collection consists of Cellular Swiss Crystal Dry Oil and Cellular Swiss Crystal Cream. It is a dry skin dream combination. I gave both a try and love them.
The dry oil is a combination of pure oils, designed to seal moisture in your skin with particularly long lasting effects. A little goes a long way with this oil. It can also be applied in two ways. You can apply few drops directly for maximum treatment, or you can mix a few drops into a moisturizer. I liked it used alone on my particularly dry spots and then I tried it mixed with a light moisturizer for when I wanted something a bit lighter on my skin. Both ways worked quite well. I especially noticed that, when used directly, the effects were indeed very long lasting. My skin stayed comfortably moisturized for hours wearing the oil.
So, I liked the oil. Well, I liked the the cream even better! The cream is very rich,as in seriously, luxuriously rich. Yet it absorbs wonderfully and does not feel at all heavy. I have been feeling dry after showering, and using this cream left my skin feeling and looking great all day. If you have dry skin and like luxury creams, this is the product for you!
Overall, my impression of these products was very high. I definitely recommend them, especially if you have particularly dry skin. You can purchase la prairie at their website and at higher end department stores.

Here, two seemingly fragile plants and one tiny algae survive and thrive in the harshest setting on earth, developing strategies to outwit the environment. It’s only fitting then that la prairie, with a heritage deeply rooted in Switzerland, harnessed these extreme-survivalist secrets into the Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Collection. The discovery combines some of the most sophisticated survivalist secrets
