Ebay Auctions for a Cure are Up!

The Comments for a Cure auctions have started!

My auction is for a large lot of new/never used bath and beauty products and samples, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation. You can view the original post about it here.

The Beauty Blog Network is also holding multiple auctions for some fabulous items donated by companies and public relations firms with all proceeds going to charity. Various network members are also running their own auctions, so there will be a number of great auctions out there to bid on to help raise money for cancer charities. Comments for a Cure: Donation Update!

The comments period of Comments for a Cure has ended. BIG THANKS to everyone who commented and/or otherwise donated! The total comments on my blog came to 37, but I have donated the full $50 that I pledged to The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation. I have posted a screen shot showing the donation (plus and extra $2.37 to pay their paypal fee). If you donated separately, made a purchase, or otherwise helped out, feel free to comment and brag about it!

In other news, over at the Comments for a Cure web page, $271 has been raised so far through direct donations for The American Cancer Society. When I have final totals from the money raised across all of the blogs from comments, I will post it.

Also, don’t forget that the Ebay auctions are still coming up! The Beauty Blog Network, myself, and other members of the network will be running auctions, with most of them starting this Sunday and running for one week. I will be posting more information about the auctions soon! For a sneek peak of the Beauty Blog Network auction items take a look at the Comments For a Cure Auction Page. This will also be your source for information on the network auctions as they are running.

Finally, don’t forget to look at the cafe press shop. If you would like to send a direct donation to the Gynecological Cancer Foundation, you can pay a visit to the GCF.org Donation Page.

Because of auction activities, I am delaying my post of the weekend roundup until tomorrow. So watch for that on Saturday.

COMMENTS FOR A CURE: Leave a Comment and Send a Dollar to Charity!

Coming Soon! Comments for a Cure from The Beauty Blog Network

Coming Soon!!! Join members of the Beauty Blog Network on June 4-6 for Comments for a Cure. On those dates, all participating network blogs will be writing a blog post for this charity event. The amount of comments posted during those days will count towards the dollar amount that will be donated to the cancer charity of their choice.

In conjunction with the promotion, the network will also be holding an EBay auction for many fabulous items that were graciously donated by various companies and public relations contacts. The proceeds of that auction will go to benefit The American Cancer Society. Some individual blogs will also be holding charity auctions.
