Coach Beauty Collection

Just in time for the holidays comes the Coach Beauty Collection. With each item bearing the Coach signature logo, any of the items in the collection would make great gifts.

I am particularly intrigued by the Lipstick, pictured above. It has “coach” embossed on it and the signature case is quite attractive. The Shimmer Powder, pictured below, also looks quite nice. The collection also includes fragrance items.

Of course a coach handbag is always a good gift as well! Coach has stand alone stores and is also widely available at better department stores.

Pokemon Perfume, Eau de Pikachu!

OK, I admit that I love Pokemon. I have cute little Pikachu things around my office, and I own a few Pikachu T-shirts. But this is going a little far.

There is now available a Pokemon Perfume. They even call it “designer.” But I have my doubts. I think I will pass on this one, but the idea of it sure does amuse me!

If you want a higher end theme perfume, where “designer” really means something, check out the Hello Kitty Momoberry Perfume. I tried this in a store awhile back and it is quite nice!

I love Ferragamo shoes. I also would love to have one of the new beauty kits consisting of F, the latest Salvatore Ferragamo fragrance, Ferragamo lip balm, hand cream and a facial mist.

Fleurs de Nuit, a New Fragrance From Designers Badgley Mischka

Available for a limited time beginning in October will be a new fragrance from Designers Badgley Mischka with perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux.

Fleurs De Nuit is a splendid fragrance in an equally splendid bottle, inspired by white florals shimmering in a moon garden. Described as “Glamorous, Vintage, Elegant,” the frangrance lives up to the name. Flores-Roux described it as follows:

The striking white floral was created with notes of magnolia, quince blossoms, Chinese peony and night blooming jasmine, while ‘liquid’ and shimmering notes provide an open and airy feeling. Silky pagoda wood and glowing amber add a cozy and sensual warmth.

I found the fragrance to be wonderfully feminine. It has a luxurious side to it, yet I think meets the elegant and vintage descriptors quite nicely.

Watch for Fleurs de Nuit beginning in October at stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The Healing Garden, White Tea Relax Therapy Products

I recently tried four products from The Healing Garden: Holistic Fragances. All were from the White Tea Collection, which is a light relaxing formula.

I’m not the best at describing fragrances, so the best I can say with this one is that it is a light fragrance, that it is indeed relaxing, and that I liked quite a bit. I would describe it as a light floral/herbal scent, and yes, there is a hint of tea in there. I’m not a fan of strong scents and this was just about perfect for me.

The body wash is a nice moisturizing wash, with a light foam and light fragrance. I paired that with the body lotion, which also was a nice textured light lotion that had the same pleasant light fragrance. I also tried the body spray, which is a bit heavier fragranced, but still very pleasant for me to wear.

My favorite was the room spray. I have always loved scented room sprays and this one is particularly nice. The fragrance is just strong enough to scent the room, but still light enough so that it doesn’t overwhelm.

Overall, I liked this line of products and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a relaxing light fragrance.
