Keri Hilson is the girl who sang in Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” and was the love interest in Usher’s “Love In This Club” Video. She has now made a name for herself as a songwriter, writing for Justin Timberlake, The Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and Usher.

Hilson will be appearing on MTV’s TRL Wednesday, July 16, 2008 to promote the video for her first single, “Energy.” M.A.C. Cosmetic’s Sr. Artist Romero Jennings did her makeup for the show (pictured above) and explained how to achieve the look:

Pump up lashes top and bottom with 2 coats of prep and prime mascara, then add one heavy winter coat of Plushlash mascara in Plushblack.

I then add the #7 lashes which I cut into fine pieces and place on the top lashes!

The skin was primed with Prep + Prime Skin and polished with a sheer coat of Moistureblend Foundation that is highlighted with Moisturelush Eye Cream and contoured Matte Bronzer!

Shadows were pumped up with Creme de Violet used as a liner/shadow under eye while Saddle and Black Tied shadows frames the eye!

Stila Cosmetics Now Available at Ulta Stores

I love Stila cosmetics, especially the eyeshadow with its great pigment and shades. However, I used to rarely buy Stila because it was exclusive to Sephora and there was not a Sephora store very close to me.

L’Oreal Red Carpet Compact

L’Oreal and Kwiat, one of Hollywood’s favorite diamond jewelry companies, have teamed up to design th he L’Oreal Paris 2008 Red Carpet Compact that will be presented to the Golden Globes’ female nominees in all categories.

However, the compact is not just for the stars. The compact will be available for purchase at L’Oréal Paris retail stores for around $50, with 20 percent of the retail sale price going to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF).L’Oreal Paris has also commissioned a limited edition gold and diamond version of the Compact, valued at $4,900, to raise additional funds for the OCRF. Two of these compacts will be listed for sale through eBay Giving Works. The compacts will be auctioned on www.ebay.com/lorealparis beginning January 4 through January 14 with an opening bid of $500.
