L’Oreal Skin Genesis, Moisturizer and Treatment Serum

Total Beauty sent me samples of a couple of new L’Oreal Skin Genesis Items to try. Both are nice feeling products and have been getting pretty good reviews.

L’Oreal Skin Genesis Daily Moisturizer is an oil-free light lotion with Pro-xylane (don’t ask me what that really is, because I don’t know and L’Oreal doesn’t clearly say) and Hyaluronic Spheres. I found it to have a nice light feel and it absorbed very quickly, but because it lacks SPF, it won’t be my everyday moisturizer. I actually have used it some at night, and primarily tested it during that time.

The Skin Genesis Daily treatment is a lotion-like serum, also with Pro-xylane and Concentrated Hyaluronic. I found it similar to the lotion in terms of a light feel and quick absorption.

After a few weeks of use, both products left my skin looking good and I had no issues with breakouts. I rate them as above average items in terms of drugstore moisturizing and anti-aging skin care products. So these certainly are some decent value items.

Kryolan Trio Blusher Set

Kryolan makes professional and theatrical makeup, but it can be a great source for personal cosmetics as well. Something I particularly like is the new Trio Blusher Set. It contains three quite different, but all useable shades.

Also nice is the Lip Rouge Set. Available in five different color combinations, the pallets contain five lip shades that are fairly opaque, with a large amount of pigment. I found them good for when a lot of color is desired.Kryolan products are sold at various locations throughout North America and Internationally. On July 18th through August 3rd, shoppers nationwide will rise with the sun and rush to their nearest Nordstrom. This ritual signifies the beginning of the two week period where the limited supply of coveted Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusive items become available. Earth Therapeutics Clean and Cool Foot Wipes

Earth Therapeutics makes some great bath and body products, especially items for the feet. I have a fun foot care set from them that I picked up at Bed Bath and Beyond. Now they have come out with what I think is a must have product for summer: Clean and Cool Foot Wipes.

These wipes have cooling alcohol and tea tree oil, along with a wonderful mint scent. Keep them in your purse or beach bag for quickly refreshing your feet after being outside barefoot, wearing sandals, or simply seeking to freshen up.
