Lindsay Lohan, Fashion Week, Cynthia Rowley, and Band-Aids

The Cynthia Rowley fashion week show had a a bit of drama when a photographer jumped on the runway before the show to try to get a picture of Lindsay Lohan, who was sitting in the front row. The Lindsay Lohan Fashion Week appearance reportedly also caused quite a stir, something that I don’t quite understand. Celebrities are common at fashion week, and Lohan’s presence should not have been a huge shock. In any event, the photographer ended up with a confiscated camera and revoked credentials, and the room and Lindsay Lohan all reportedly applauded. And, by the way, it is possible to get photos without being improper. Here is Lindsay sitting in the front row at the Cythia Rowely show. I'm quite sure that this photographer did not jump on the catwalk to take the picture.

Also of interest in regard to Cynthia Rowley is the line of Band-Aids (yes Band Aids) that was pre-released as part of Fashion’s Night Out. I think designer Band-Aids are just plain silly, but I admit that I am also intrigued. I have been known to wear Hello Kitty Band-Aids, so why not step up to covering my ouchies with Cynthia Rowley? It certainly could be a step toward reforming my tacky ways.

Cynthia Rowley Band Aids

As for the clothes at the Cynthia Rowley show, I would love to show them, but I don’t have access to any licensed images at the moment, so you get celebrity gossip and Band-Aids instead!  I'll have real fashion photos when I get some.

The Kardashian Sisters Take on Fashion Week with a New Klothing Kollection

The Kardashian Sisters Take on Fashion Week with a New Klothing Kollection It's fashion week in New York City and everyone, including the Kardashian sisters, are here to show off their collections, lines and creations. In addition to retail stores, perfume lines, books and multiple reality shows, the Kardashians have added yet another milestone to their list of endless accomplishments with the newly launched Kardashian Kollection for Sears.

Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian's collection offers an array of fashion from footwear to eyewear that is available now just in time for fall. Great looks for less is something that these ladies know their fans want and that's exactly what they're giving them.

This collection of clothing and accessories are definitely all stamped with the monogram initial "K" of approval. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney were involved in every step of creating this original line - from the zippers to the buttons to the fabric prints these fashion icons have solidified their true reflection in every element of design.

Having their own clothing line has been a dream of these reality royalty siblings since day one. In the Kardashian Kollection everything is stretchy and comfy, not to mention itch-proof, thanks to Kourtney. Kourtney performs an itch test for nearly all the pieces included in the line.

It's easy to see that the shoes, clothes, jewelry and belts are embrace the style and sophistication of the three sisters' personalities. Kim exudes an amorous and sexy vibe. Kourt calls herself more BoHo chic. While Khloe is classic, or klassic, with an edge and a very strong affinity for leopard prints.

With their three distinct and unique body types - tall, curvy, petite - the clothes, dress and pants were designed with all of these attributes in mind, resulting in comfortable and stylish clothing for women of many shapes and sizes.

In addition to this new line with Sears, it was a year ago this week that they launched a line with QVC called the K-Dash by Kardashian collection. The collection debuted as part of QVC's Fashion's Night Out 2010 live from Rockefeller Center.

It seems weddings, reality shows and family vacations can't slow these girls down. Makes a fashionista wonder where 2012's Kardashian clothing line will land.
