1. Holidays offer time off from work and a chance to see the family. However, too much family time makes work seem appealing. Give yourself the confidence to face even the most annoying relatives with the Too Too Pretty perfume By Betsey Johnson. The festive bottle makes it easy to embrace the whimsical spirit of the holidays, and the scent mixes floral and forest notes that make it fitting for any occasion.

2. The first snowfall of the year is always magical, but the first time your skin starts cracking and flaking is not. Avoid creating your own version of a winter wonderland with the Moisture Bound Rejuvenating Essentials Set. The set moisturizes while eliminating wrinkles and leaves a fresh, youthful look. You will make Santa's nice list whether you use the kit for yourself or save it for someone with dry skin or aged skin.

3. Do not forget to add holiday cheer to your nails. The New Black Glimmer Twins set ensures multiple options and lets you stay current with trends. The crimson color matches the holiday theme, but you can make your nails unique with a glitter finish, stripes and more.

4. Office parties, family events and celebrations with friends can make anyone frazzled. You do not need to sacrifice your appearance during the busy holiday season. Stilla's Custom Color Bronze is a new necessity for the winter months. The bronzer creates a healthy glow, and makes looking flawless simple without being time consuming.

5. For a nice holiday scent, DKNY pureDKNY Verbena offers a soft scent that is tasteful and welcoming with an attractive bottle.

Aromatherapy and Your Mood: How to Take Advantage

One hot buzzword among the holistic crowd is aromatherapy. And it makes sense because, sure, everyone likes things that smell good, right? But what you might not realize is that aromatherapy is much more than just breathing in those smell-good scents. Aromatherapy claims to be real therapy, in a number of different ways, and it is actually more complex than you might think. If you are not taking advantage of what aromatherapy can do for you, then you might want to consider trying it out. Here is a guide to understanding aromatherapy and your mood:

Different aromas for different moods. With aromatherapy, it is not as simple as picking a scent you like and breathing it in. No, each aroma has a different affect on your senses. Therefore, you should be aware of what's available to you and take into account how you want (or need) to adjust your mood before you attempt aromatherapy.

Invigoration. If you need a pick-me-up or a system re-charge, try aromatherapy oils that are citrus, jasmine or peppermint scented. In addition to adding some bounce to your step, these invigorating aromatherapies can also boost your self confidence, increase your positive mind flow, and help lift you out of a depressive state.

De-stressing. One of the most common uses for aromatherapy is for stress relief. Try lavender, chamomile, sandalwood, frankincense, ylang ylang, and rose for some breath-easy, if you will. If you really want to kick the de-stressing up a notch (or is it down a notch?), get a massage, using aromatherapy oils in your favorite of these scents.

Unwanted cravings. Do you ever get in the mood to binge eat, when you know you are not really hungry? Well, that is mood-based food craving, and it can be alleviated with aromatherapy. The best scents for side-tracking those emotional-eating urges are vanilla and citrus.

Fatigue. Sometimes your body just feels like it weighs a thousand pounds. It's not that you are depressed or "feeling down." You're just plain tired. Instead of reaching for that mid-afternoon coffee, which can give you the jitters and send you crashing in a matter of hours, try peppermint, ginger, and basil scented aromatherapy oils to wake up.

As you can see, there is a lot you can do with aromatherapy, if you know what you want to accomplish and how to best use what's available to you. Become the master of your emotional state in an all-natural way by using aromatherapy to your advantage.
