Pantene has done something new and needed. With the Pantene Pro-V Age Defy Collection, they created a line of products that addresses concerns seen with aging hair. Especially take note if you have thinning hair, because the line includes a great thickening treatment. The products were winners of the More Fierce & Fabulous Product Awards. The Pantene Pro-V Age Defy line is formulated with vitamins and caffeine to address 7 signs of aging: thinning, breakage, split ends, frizz, unruly greys, lackluster color and dryness.

These affordable products have the expected Pantene quality. Lather is good with the shampoo and the conditioner is smoothing and detangling. My hair was very soft after testing it.

A product of particular note in this line is the Pantene Pro-V Age Defy Thickening Treatment. There are a lack of products on the market to address thinning hair. So, I was quite pleased to see this addition to the collection, which was developed in connection with Olay anti-aging experts-a source that I have a lot of trust in. I have fine hair and I found that this leave in treatment immediately gave my hair a fuller and smoother feel. If you have thinning hair, you owe it to yourself to give this item a try. Overall, my personal impression of the line is quite good. How nice to see a hair care system that addresses some of the issues that arise with aging hair! The Pantene Expert Collection Age Defy products attack multiple issues such as breakage, split ends, frizz, unruly grays, dull color, thinning, and dryness. That they are affordable is an added bonus. If you are concerned with the effects of age on your hair these are must have products.

Hot Tools Pink Titanium Curling Iron Review

Curls that lose their life are truly sad, and you're sick of having to deal with them. Instead of continuing that seemingly never ending search for the perfect curling iron, choose the Hot Tools Pink Titanium Curling Iron today. Indeed, the color gives it that extra girly and feminine appeal that is characteristic of beautiful and bouncy curls. However, this product is strong enough to deal with even the toughest of strands.

Frizzy locks have been the plague of my life since I was in the seventh grade. No matter how much heat or how many products I used, they never seem to work in defeating the frizz. I find that the Hot Tools iron gives my strands just the bursts of life they need to look shiny and healthy as opposed to poofy and dull. It's important give each lock the time it requires though and to curl the hair in sections. If you simply run the iron quickly over your hair, the curls are not going to come out correctly, and your hair will probably still be frizzy. After curling my hair around one of the clamps, I like to hold it there for at least 30 seconds.

Sometimes, I'll find that even with the curling tool, I do still have a little bit of frizz in my hair. To avoid this issue, it's best to spray hairspray onto your hair before you curl it. Of course, you need to wait a couple of minutes to ensure that your hair does not sizzle.

This Hot Tools product also has very high heat settings. Now, you don't want to burn your hair, so be sure it's set only to the highest setting you need. Personally, I need to put it up to the highest temperature setting, which is 450 degrees Fahrenheit. As I noted though, my hair tends to be very frizzy, and it is also extremely thick and long. Temperatures this high could essentially cause damage to the strands. Therefore, I do not use the tool every day, and it's almost important to have regular visits with your hair stylist to ensure optimal treatment.

Another convenient part of this tool is that it's easy to pack and carry, so ladies can look good on the go. Overall, although I do have to make some minor adjustments, I am very happy with the Hot Tools Curling Iron.

Adele Oscars Hair With John Frieda

Michael Ashton used John Frieda products to style Adele's hair at the Academy Awards, creating a half-up do to compliment her black Jenny Packham gown.

Here is how to get the look:

1. Towel dry wet hair and remove excess moisture. Then work through Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray (new product) on mid-lengths and ends.

2. Flip hair over with your head between your knees, blasting hot air down the hair shaft for instant lift at the roots and thickness through the rest of the hair.

3. When hair is about 80% dry, flip the hair back over and take large sections, smoothing them with a medium sized round brush. Pay particular attention to the ends to ensure they are bouncy and full.

4. Section the hair into quarters and apply a medium-large curling iron to each section to achieve a feminine texture. Next set in hot rollers. Once cool, carefully brush through hair with a natural bristle brush.

5. Continue for the remaining three sections, ensuring that as you have finished curling each section you pin it in a barrel curl using a sectioning clip while it cools and sets.

6. After 5-10 minutes, remove the sectioning clips, gently tousle hair. Pull half of the hair back and tease at the crown, securing pieces together in the back of the head. Leave down two small sections of hair to frame the face. Mist Luxurious Volume All-Day Hold Hairspray for a long-lasting finish.
