Alba Hawaiian Papaya Facial Mask

Alba Hawaiian Facial Mask, Papaya Enzyme is a really nice enzyme mask that is a bit different from other enzyme masks; it is a gel.

I have use clay papaya enzyme masks before, and I particularly like the Astara Green Papaya Mask. But a gel option is quite nice to have, especially when just a light mask is all that is desired. The Alba mask feels quite light on the face, yet I could still feel the enzymes going to work. After about 5 minutes, I washed it off and my skin looked quite nice. Those interested in this mask might also like the spa kit with products from the same line. I found mine at a Meyer’s store and have seen some Alba products at CVS stores. It also is available online.

Alba Botanica Home Spa Kit and Coconut Lip Balm

Today brings a quick post to recommend the Alba Botanica Alba Home Spa Kit, which comes with a great lip balm. The kit itself has some good products and is quite fun. I imagine that it would make a great gift. But in particular, as long as you are not adverse to the fragrance or taste of coconut, the Alba Coconut Cream Lip Balm that comes with this kit is amazing. The balm is made with all vegetarian ingredients and does not not contain petrolatum. It has a nice moisturizing feel that lasts for quite awhile. I really love this lip balm! I have seen the balm occasionally sold outside of the kit at CVS.

The downside of the balm is that it does not have SPF. Alba does also make Alba Botanica Lipcare, SPF 18, which I have not tried. But when it comes to lip balms with SPF, I also can’t rave enough about my all time favorite Banana Boat Aloe Vera with Vitamin E Sunscreen Lip Balm, SPF 30. I often pick that up at Target.
