DuWop Lash Venom Mascara

Duwop lash venom mascara I am a fan of DuWop Original Lip Venom which is a nice basic clear lip plumper that has a good amount of tingle, and hence a bit of actual plumping to it (don’t expect miracles though, it simply is a good gloss that plumps a little, where most don’t plump at all).  Anyway, DuWop Lash Venom Mascara was not to mascara what lip venom is to lip gloss. Instead, it was rather disappointing for me.

This rather standard mascara, with a bit smaller than normal brush (something I normally like) didn’t really measure up for me on all levels. I didn’t get a whole lot of length from this mascara. I would say it was definitely under average. Then, while it wasn’t a clump fest, it did clump slightly for me. Mostly though, it smudged. I had fairly bad raccoon eyes within a couple of hours. Just to be sure that I wasn’t having a bad mascara day, I tried it on two other days, with the same results.  So the upshot with this one is that I say stick with the lip venom, but skip the lash venom.

DuWop Lip Venom Review

Duwop lip venom

On of the first lip plumpers out there, and one that continues to be very popular is DuWop Lip Venom. I recently gave it try through a purchase of the DuWop Mini Venom Trio. That provided a nice way to try three of the lip venom products.

The trio contains the standard clear lip venom, along with two tubes of DuWop Venom Flash, one with gold flakes and one with silver flakes. The three mini glosses come in a cute little tube. As a lip plumper, DuWop's Lip Venom is OK. I found that it tingled and such more than a cheap lip plumper, and maybe, just maybe, I could see a bit of plumping. But like with most lip plumpers, the actual visible results seem negligible. At this point the best plumping I have seen has come from Freeze 24/7 (link is to previous review). With that said, this still is a good gloss. It gives a good shine and I like the tingle. DuWop Venom Flash is a good way to add a little sparkle and I particularly like using the gold over lipstick. On the whole, the trio provides a nice way to try out the products.
