Hello Kitty Beauty and Makeup

When MAC Cosmetics put out their limited edition Hello Kitty for MAC collection, it was wildly popular. That got me wondering what other Hello Kitty makeup, beauty, or Hello Kitty cosmetics might be out there. After a bit of browsing, I came across a decent amount of Hello Kitty lip balm and lip glosses, along with some Hello Kitty nail polish.

The most interesting to me were the Hello Kitty press on nails. I personally can’t see myself wearing something like that, but they are kind of cute. Below are shopping links for some of what I found.

MAC Hello Kitty On The Prowl Nail Polish

Gray nails just don’t quite look right on me, but I do still like this shade quite a bit. Below is the On The Prowl nail lacquer shade from the MAC cosmetics Hello Kitty collection.

This Hello Kitty nail polish is sold out online, but you might still be able to find it at MAC stores and/or counters.

M.A.C. Hello Kitty Eye Shadow Palette

When the MAC Hello Kitty collection came out, I immediately ordered a number of items. One of them was the Too Dolly eye shadow palette. Go figure that MAC’s PR would then later send the same one to me! So keep an eye out for a future reader giveaway involving that!

Below are swatches from the palette. None of these are shades that I will wear much, but I love the packaging!

M.A.C. Cosmetics Hello Kitty Kouture

Hello Kitty Kouture is now available at the MAC Cosmetics website and will be in freestanding MAC stores beginning March 5, 2009 (tomorrow). This high end collection features two new Dazzleglass shades with silver chain pendants, featuring Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals on black and with a pink crystal bow ($28 each). I bought both and will post swatches on Girl Gloss when they arrive.

The MAC Hello Kitty Collection also includes a a polished silver Sheer Mystery Powder compact, featuring Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals and with a pink crystal bow ($90). I splurged on that as well!

MAC and Hello Kitty Collection is Available Now!

The MAC and Hello Kitty Collection went on sale at midnight last night. I made a good number of purchases. There are still items available on the website, but this collection will likely sell out fast. It is also slated to go into stores on the 12th, but there are some internet rumors that it might be put out early.

The collection is split into two lines: Hello Kitty Mild and Hello Kitty Wild, so be sure to check out both for differing limited edition shades! I ordered some from both.

Hello Kitty for MAC February 10

The M.A.C Cosmetics Hello Kitty Collection will go on sale on February 12. that means they will likely be on the MAC website on February 10. Look for it stores a few days later. I can’t wait!!!!
