These affordable products have the expected Pantene quality. Lather is good with the shampoo and the conditioner is smoothing and detangling. My hair was very soft after testing it.
A product of particular note in this line is the Pantene Pro-V Age Defy Thickening Treatment. There are a lack of products on the market to address thinning hair. So, I was quite pleased to see this addition to the collection, which was developed in connection with Olay anti-aging experts-a source that I have a lot of trust in. I have fine hair and I found that this leave in treatment immediately gave my hair a fuller and smoother feel. If you have thinning hair, you owe it to yourself to give this item a try. I can see why it was a Fierce and Fabulous award winner!
Overall, my personal impression of the line is quite good. How nice to see a hair care system that addresses some of the issues that arise with aging hair! The Pantene Expert Collection Age Defy products attack multiple issues such as breakage, split ends, frizz, unruly grays, dull color, thinning, and dryness. That they are affordable is an added bonus. If you are concerned with the effects of age on your hair these are must have products.
