Revlon Illuminance Creme Eye Shadow
Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow comes in quads of four creme shadows. I tried the quad Not Just Nudes, which turned out to be a fairly nice set of nude creme shades.

The shadow itself is quite sheer, and only fairly buildable. If I had a complaint, I guess that would be it–I would rather see a bit more color payoff. But the sheerness still worked for me and the shadows blended very well because of it.
I did not experience issues with creasing, although I have seen other state that they had issues with that when using the Illuminance shadows. It appears that creasing is more problematic in those with oily skin, and I don’t have particularly oily lids, so that may be why I had no issues with it.
The shadow lasted most of the day for me. It did not stick around as long as my favorite, MAC paint pots (read review), but it did a decent job. Mostly I just love the shades, which are swatched below:

Revlon Glimmer Gloss Nail Lacquer
Revlon Glimmer Gloss is a lightly tinted, glittery nail lacquer that can be worn alone or over regular polish. Personally, I like it over an opaque polish to add subtle extra shine and shimmer. In the picture, I am wearing the shade Strawberry Sizzle over Maybelline Salon Expert Nail Polish in Pink Splash (read review). The glimmer is hard to see in the picture though

Revlon ColorStay Mineral Foundation
Revlon, like just about everyone else, has entered the mineral makeup market. I rate their effort, Revlon Colorstay Mineral Foundation in the fair to OK category–I just can’t find anything special about this one.
This powder foundation provides decent sheer coverage at a fairly good price. For those that require an included brush, it also includes one that is serviceable, although it is rather small. I would recommend the L’Oreal mineral makeup instead for those who really want their minerals to come prepackaged with a brush (read review).
Unfortunately, there are also several issues with the product. The packaging does not allow for easy use with a different brush because the mouth of the shaker is narrow. I did not fare well trying to cram my favorite kabuki brush in it, and was unable to tap off excess back into the container without making a mess.
Also on the unfortunate side is Revlon’s decision to cut the product with both talc and bismuth. Leaving out the talc allows mineral makeup to provide better coverage and bismuth can cause irritation and itching in some people. For a drugstore mineral makeup without talc and bismuth that has a nice standard container for use with personal brushes, try Maybelline Mineral Power instead. Other higher end options, such as Jane Iredale (highly recommended), are available online.

Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner
After trying out blue mascara and liking it, I had a brief obsession with finding a good navy eyeliner. I thought it would be simple to run out and pick one up at any nearby store. Boy was I wrong! When I looked for one at Kohls from their Flirt line, they were sold out. Then I went to Walgreens, and couldn’t find one there either. The various lines either didn’t have a dark blue or were out of it! I saw lots of very light blue, but I didn’t want that.
Finally, I found two different shades that I liked at CVS. In the process, I discovered an all around great eyeliner regardless of the shade! Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner applies effortlessly. There is no tugging, and while it blends and smudges very well, it didn’t do so until I tried to smudge it. This makes it ideal for getting either a sharp look or a smudged one. The pencil has a smudge tip on one end that works quite well. It is very well pigmented and it stayed on all day for me with no fading. I love it!
I purchased mine in both blackened sapphire and brushed pewter. The sapphire is a dark blue, while the pewter is more of grey with a blue/silver tone to it. It costs a bit more than some other drugstore brands, but I think it is well worth it.

Revlon Cream Blush in Rosy Glow and Just Peachy
I have been really into cream blush lately. I like how it tends to stay longer than powder blush, and if applied right, it looks more natural. For a bit of extra glow and staying power, I will sometimes brush some very light powder blush or shimmering bronzer over it. Another trick I like is to apply it over a skin highlighter such as Neutrogena Shimmer Sheers .
Right now a current and quite affordable favorite is Revlon Cream Blush With Pop-Up Mirror, in Rosy Glow. I also have the same product in Just Peachy, a new light peach color that I have seen in only a few stores (I found mine at Osco).
The Revlon cream blush has a very nice, non-oily texture and I find that it blends quite well. Another thing I love about this blush is that it is a matte color. It seems like so many of the current cream blushes are packed full of shimmer. A little shimmer is OK, but I tend to prefer matte and like to add any shimmer separately. The Just Peachy shade is a very light peach. It is pretty warm and also very, very light, so the shade won’t work for everyone.
The Rosy Glow shade is a very nice neutral pink/rose color. It works well on my fair skin and I imagine that it would work quite well on any skin that ranges from light to medium. Those with darker skin could run into problems though because the product does have a downside. It is not nearly as pigmented as some other (generally more expensive) brands. Even on my fair skin, I often find myself either putting quite a bit on or wearing it as a very sheer blush. So I fear that it would never show up on darker skin! The lack of pigment is also the biggest complaint about the product at Makeup Alley. Some there also felt that it faded too quickly, but I have been OK with that as long as I add a touch of powder (usually powder blush) over it to set it.
In the realm of drugstore cream blush, the Rosy Glow shade is my favorite. But for a more pigmented color, I like a higher end brand. When the need to use less product is considered, a well pigmented higher end brand can actually be an equal value. One of my current favorites there is Paula Dorf Cheek Color Cream Blush.
