This is a giveaway for a Stila Snow Angel Holiday Palette. The palette has a nice selection of shadow shades and blushes and is perfect for the holiday season. It comes give packaged with a mini mascara as well.

Too Faced Glamour To Go Spun Sugar Swatches

Too faced always makes cute eye shadow palettes and their Holiday offering always are good gift items. I ordered a couple of items, the first of which was the Too Face Glamour to Go Spun Sugar Set, which has eight shadows, a bronzer, a blush, and a gloss. This is limited edition for holiday 2012.

The outside packaging is cute.

The shadows in the set are festive metallic type shades and the package includes a mirror and slide out drawer holding the gloss, bronzer and blush.

Below are swatches of the eye shadows in the Too Faced Glamour to Go Spun Sugar palette. Pigmentation in them is fine. Not outstanding, but not terrible either. The gold shade second from the left seemed to lack pigment more than the others.

At $22, for the set, it is a very good value. Too Faced is also cruelty free.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Call of the Wild Swatches, Review, Video

The new Tarte Amazonian Clay Call Of The Wild Palette is a collector’s edition palette with eight neutral shades. When my palette first arrived, I wasn’t overly impressed with the shades in the pans. They looked fine, but they didn’t excite me either. But I did like them better once I swatched them.

Here is my photo of the palette. The case is attractive and the shadows are good sized.

Tarte shadows are a bit harder than a lot of shadows in their price range, but not so hard that they don’t blend. That means less fall out. However, I felt that the pigment in these could be a bit better, especially in the the lighter shades.

Below are my Tarte Amazonian Clay swatches from the Call Of The Wild palette. The shades are: Meow, Jungle, Call, Instinct, Wild, Lynx, Primal, and Roar.
