Plenty of people think of Vaseline as something used to protect a baby’s skin, but did you know of all of the beauty uses for it as well? I love to use Vaseline to soften my feet and hands, and I use it to protect my feet from blisters, both when running and when wearing fashion shoes that rub. Recently, I also gave it a try for making cream blush and eyeshadow. It was super easy to make using powder makeup that you already own, and I was very happy with the results, especially for use on my dry skin.  Vaseline helps dry skin by locking in moisture. There are also no worries about this clogging pores or causing breakouts. Vaseline is non-comedogenic and 100% pure.  Watch the video below to learn more and see how to make Vaseline cream blush and eyeshadow.

What I loved most about making this was how the Vaseline sinks into the skin after a bit, leaving a nice color to the makeup that isn’t too shiny. Yet, it feels great because it is moisturizing . No dry or tight skin! Here is a close up photo that shows the eyeshadow  and blush pretty well. I loved how it worked, and I will probably foil loose shadow with Vaseline all the time now! I forgot to mention it in the video, but I am also wearing Vaseline on my lips. I colored them in with a lip pencil and put Vaseline over the top for a glossy effect. Since I get dry lips, I loved how that felt.

Here is the eyeshadow. It too blends more as you rub it.
