The Michael Todd True Organics Soniclear is the first antimicrobial sonic cleansing system. That, and its inclusion of a larger body brush head, makes it stand out among the plethora of other sonic cleansing devices on the market.
Like many sonic cleansing brushes, the Soniclear comes with a charging stand and can be used in the shower. What it adds is antimicrobial protection to the brush, which I like, given that these things tend to sit around damp a lot. A cleaner brush has to equate to cleaner skin right? Michael Todd advertises that the protection will not wash out or wear out either.
The system also includes two brush heads, one of which is a really nice big size for body use. The handle has non slip grips that I like quite a bit, and there are multiple speed options. A timer beeps to tell you when to move to a new area. The system comes with very complete instructions, which I also like, as some competitors seem to skimp in that area at times.
I’ve been using the Soniclear for months now and it has held up well. I love the larger body brush, and I feel like the facial brush does a great job at removing dirt and preventing breakouts. You can pair this up with some really great cleansers, like the Micheal Todd Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Cleanser, which I love for oily and acne prone skin. The price is fairly decent on it too in comparison to some of the other big name sonic cleansing brushes.
Oh, and it is a really cool shade of purple, so it isn’t boring like other plain looking brushes!
