Pixi cosmetics are now available at Target. The line has a rather impressive array of products, including a good selection of thirteen different eye shadow palettes. I grabbed one when I was there.
I picked up the Palette "Mod," which consists of eight neutral shades ranging from light pink and gray, to medium brown, to taupe, to dark grey. The case is made of rather light plastic for a $28 palette, but it includes a mirror and serviceable brush. Below are swatches in the same order as they appear in the palette:
The shadows are finely milled and the shades are very nice. I didn't experience creasing with the Pixi eye shadows, but I also thought that the shadow did not last as long as it could for its price point. I found that it had worn off and faded by the end of the work day. Nevertheless, because the shades are so nice, and the choices among the palettes so large, anyone looking for a good set of useable shades might want to give Pixi a look.

The colours seem to be very neutral
Would like to know how it compares to the L’oreal HIP. Thanks!
Angel: Yes, that particular palette is very neutral. There are a bunch of others though with varying colors. Overall, a pretty good selection!
Katie: As far as intensity and overall quality goes, HIP wins out. It is pretty hard to beat HIP for a drugstore brand with super high color payoff. It is simply great stuff! But where Pixi beats HIP is with the wider selections of shades and palettes.
