Over the years I have ended up with numerous items that I never tested or used. Some are really nice products, but some are, well… a bit odd. I used to give this stuff to friends, but then I thought: “how about making mystery boxes?” And so here we are. Every month or two I am going to give away a medium flat rate box full of beauty products until all this stuff is gone. Here is what a box might look like.

This gives an idea of the size of the box. It isn’t real big, but I can cram a lot in it!

This is not the box you will win. It is an example of the type of box and items being given away. What exactly is in the winner’s box is a mystery!   There will be some nice things, some odd things, and likely some things that just aren’t for you, but that a friend might like. There will probably be some packing peanuts or tissue paper. Not knowing what you are getting is the fun of it! I will ask for the winner’s basic skin tone and color preferences to try to maximize the relevance of at least a few items, but there are no guarantees on what you might get!

  6. Skin type – Combination! Its sometimes dry, and sometimes oily – But I always use oil-free products as I’ve not yet escaped the acne age. (Even in my mid-30s DRAT!)

    LOVE neutrals and rose/peach colors, along with warm browns. Light makeup for me, but I have a hard time choosing things myself. LIPSTICK is my MUST HAVE item!!!

    My skin tone varies. It’s never been just 1 shade. I’ll have a dark spot on one cheek while the other is pale. Not to mention I have oily skin (thanks Mom!)! Its not as bad in the Winter because the biting wind dries it up, but its really bad in the Summer. My favorite makeup shades tend to be neutrals because then no one will notice that dark spot.

  36. Such a great give away! I love surprises and mysteries. My skintone is neutral, and I have combination skin. Lately I have been playing with all different colors with my make-up and loving a lot of the results, so I am not picky about the colors I am totally into trying something new

  48. I have light-medium skin tone, and since it’s summer, I just keep getting darker and more tan! My skin is slightly oily, but not much. I love green and brown eye shadows and am not a fan of orange, although I probably know some people who are : )
