MAC Colourizations Swatches, Photos, and Review

The MAC Colourizations Collection features eight eye shadow duos in “daring pairings,” six technakohl eye liners, and two brushes.  I received six of the MAC Colourizations Eye Shadows an immediately made swatches.

The shadows are well pigmented, as would be expected for MAC. The color combinations are indeed interesting. There are some fun and interesting shades in the collection, but I don’t think all the pairings work that well together, or at least some fare better than others.

Here are swatches of the following duos from left to right: Double Feature 1 (I love both of these shades), Double Feature 7, and Double Feature 6.  MAC has not listed custom names for the individual shades in each duo.

Here are a few more Colourization swatches, from left to right: Double Feature 5 (the brown/green pearl in this on is interesting, it looks totally different in the pot), Double Feature 3, and Double Feature 2.

The Colourizations collection starts in late July 2011 with previews at Nordstrom and The Bay and then is completely available in August
