My Good Hair Day with Remington Thermaluxe
Disclosure: This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Remington®. The opinions and texts are all mine.
I think fall is just made for good hair days. First of all, the humidity of summer is gone, taking frizz with it. Plus, the cool fall means that you can enjoy a great style without sweating and making it flat. I was recently asked by Remington to go to Target and purchase a couple of their Thermaluxe™ hair styling products and share my experiences with them. Remington has various heat styling products, such as a hair dryer, hot rollers, straighteners, and heated wands. I have used other Remington products in the past with great results, so I was happy to give a couple of items a test drive, or I guess the better term would be test style! First though, a bit about Thermaluxe technology.

Thermaluxe Technology
Thermaluxe is a breakthrough performance technology that optimizes heat to quickly and safely transform hair into healthy styles that last all day. The Thermaluxe products are meant for everyday, all day styles with thermal technology for long lasting, healthy, on-the-go, gorgeous hair. The idea is to foster a 24 hour hairstyle for a 24/7 lifestyle.
I tested two products, the dryer and the heated rollers.
Remington Thermaluxe Hair Dryer

The Remington T-Studio Thermaluxe Hair Dryer, is a lightweight, comfortable to hold, 1875 watts hair dryer, with Thermaluxe advanced thermal technology. Like most dryers, it comes with a diffuser and concentrator attachment. It also has everything that I would expect to see in a quality dryer. For example, it has ceramic heat and uses ionic technology to protect hair and preserve shine. It has three heat settings and two speeds, plus a cool shot setting. The dryer is designed to dry hair faster with less heat damage.
Something I really love about this hair dryer is that it includes a salon professional, high quality tangle-free fabric cord. I have a tendency to seriously tangle my hair dryer cords, so this is really a welcome addition. Then there is the big bonus: This dryer is super affordable! I felt like I had a high quality, professional dryer experience using it, yet it was only $34.99 at Target!

Remington T-Studio Heated Rollers

I love using heated rollers, as they allow for a way to quickly and easily curl an entire head of hair. Other devices, such as heated wands (which Remington makes, by the way) are great for travel when you don’t want something bulky, but at home, rollers are often my first choice. The Remington rollers have a neat heating feature with a Thermaluxe patented dual heating system that heats the clips and rollers at the same time. So, during use, the roller heats the hair from the inside, while the clips heat the hair from the outside. This results in curls in 5 minutes. You can also leave the rollers in for up to 15 minutes to get tighter curls. For loose waves, I tend to just start rolling, and by the time I have the head done, I can usually just wait a minute or two then work my way back around taking them out. For the look that I did here, I went ahead and left them in for about 10 minutes for a bit tighter of a curl.

The system has 20 rollers with 12 large and 8 medium sized rollers. This is generally going to be sufficient for styling a full head of hair. It was for me, and I have fairly long hair. In fact, I used only part of the set (all of the medium and of half of the large). The set features a new compact design, with cord storage around the base of the unit. It heats up in 90 seconds, so there is no real waiting. The clip design is secure, and I had no issues with tangling or crease marks. Like the other Thermaluxe products, it is perfect for a 24 hour hairstyle for a 24/7 lifestyle.

Then there is the great price. I bought my rollers for $34.99 at Target. Here is my look that I did with the Remington Thermaluxe rollers:

Love the look you created with the curlers! And only 15 mins for tight curls!? That is amazing!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen you with curls. It looks great. I gave my sister my hot rollers so I’ll check these out when I’m ready for new ones.
