As we finally start to take off the layers, our skin can breathe freely again. In my ‘spring beauty essentials’ you will discover the skincare brands that proved their worth during the coldest winter in 20 years. Without the assistance of the fabulous Acure Organics skincare my skin would have cracked (literally). Instead I faced the harsh elements like an urban warrior and my skin glowed! Together with Juice Beauty and Honey Girl Organics I’m taking you behind the scenes and sharing the skincare that keeps me camera ready for spring…

So what exactly am I loving from Acure Organics. First of all it’s available at Target so it’s accessible to all you gorgeous girls, wherever you live. Most importantly, it works! It smells delicious and I wake up with happy skin. One of my absolute favorite products is ‘Seriously Firming’ facial serum, it smells so fresh and it’s superb for layering. I am using this during the day and night. It contains the hard working borage oil, argan oil and cranberry oil and the result is smooth, glowing skin. As you serum loving ladies know, serums penetrate deeper and therefore the results are more evident. The ‘radical Resurfacing Treatment’ really works! I truly saw a difference in my skin tone and I will continue wearing it under my moisturizer and serum for spring. The ‘day cream’ firms, hydrates and restores. It contains gotu kola stem cells, shown to firm and help your skin fight free radicals (yes we need to fight these little radicals). Combined with 1% chlorella growth factor to support collagen and elastin fibers, my skin was left feeling perfectly moisturized. Also it’s not too heavy, so again great for spring. Another product I have used for a while now is ‘Argan oil & starflower line eraser’. I’m all about prevention, this is such a fantastic moisturizer for the eyes and again it combines the powerhouse duo of borage and argan oil. For the body I used (alongside my staple of extra virgin coconut oil of cause) the ‘Firming Body lotion’. I’m a lover of this product and will continue using it for spring. It really works! I focused on the upper thigh and derriere and the result is super smooth skin.

If you are familiar with my Beauty Essentials then you already know my love for Honey Girl Organics. Why? It works wonders! This organic skincare is handcrafted in Hawaii and quite frankly I’m in love with their entire line. However, there are a few products I use year round. First of all, the ‘Face and Eye Cream’ for intensely radiant skin and the ‘Super Food’ for a pick me up on those dry skin days. Whatever the season, using a face spray feels so good. Finally the rockstar of skincare; Juice Beauty. The first product I discovered and fell deeply in love with is the ‘SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer’. I highly recommend this tinted moisturizer. In fact I need to stock up for spring. Next is my go to life saver, the ‘Blemish Clearing Serum’. If I have an untimely pimple I know this literally works overnight. I recently tried the ‘Blemish Clearing Cleanser’ when my skin needed some extra support and it worked. Perfect for the monthly breakouts some of us ladies have to endure. Juice Beauty is one of my favorite skincare lines ever because it does the job! I am excited to try their other products.
