Taking Care of Life’s Little Leaks With Poise
This is a paid sponsored post on behalf of Poise Microliners through Socialstars. All opinions are my own. #LifesLittleLeaks

So, why am I writing about light bladder leakage (LBL)?  Well, if you, like me, are a woman over 40 or so, you very well might have experienced it and may be looking for solutions. In fact, one in three women experience LBL. These little leaks can be triggered by everyday occurrences like coughing, sneezing, laughing and exercise.  For me bladder leaks started when I was in my early 40s during exercise. I am a distance runner (that’s me in the blue hat running up the hill at the end of the Chicago Marathon above), so just imagine running a marathon and having an LBL moment at around mile 26! It happened to me! But at least on the good side, I was also rather sweaty, so I figure it wasn’t apparent. My fall back plan was to claim it was intentional. Yes, runners going for time goals actually do that sometimes. Yes, seriously, they sometimes do (ick, I know)! But there really is a simpler solution: Poise Microliners.

Poise liners incorporate Super absorbent material (SAM) in an amazingly thin liner pad that is very discreet.  I have made them a part of my regular exercise routine. The Poise Microliners are so thin that I can’t tell that I am wearing them and neither can anyone else, even when I am wearing tights or bike shorts. They are also super portable. Here is a look at just how small they are. I can tuck an extra one in my running belt  or jacket pocket quite easily.

Here is another look at just how thin the Poise Microliner pads are. They look similar to a thin feminine care liner, but are extra absorbent with SAM.

The material also is indeed super absorbent. With SAM and Poise, I don’t have to worry about any LBL surprises during running, and it certainly won’t ever trip me up in a race again.
You can find Poise Microliners at drugstore, grocery stores, and box box retailers.

Definitely a great thing that they make these liners so thin these days
I like how thin they are. Easily makes them discreet, and more comfortable during wear.
Sounds like these are the perfect way to handle that issue.
They do look super thin!
Wow these are thin especially compared to a sample I received from a new brand on the market!
I love these and wear them often. They are so incredibly thin you can’t even feel them.
These look like they would be great!
Always good to be prepared!
I’m so glad these products are getting more discreet and thinner. I know what my grandma was using just 15 years ago and they were like bricks.
I wore the crap out of these after I had kids. They do a number on your bladder. No one tells you that part. LOL
I love that they’re so thin. No one needs to know the time of the month.
I always keep one in my purse and drawer, just in case…
Getting older sure beats the alternative, but little things like popping knees and LBL are the downside! Thank goodness for Poise… and naproxen! lol
I needed these while I was preggo but thankfully now that I don’t have a wee one pushing on my bladder, I don’t need these anymore!
I m not to proud to admit that I wear these regularly!
It’s always great to be prepared 🙂
It’s always nice to be prepared.
They look like they’re small & easy to tote!
